Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you join the waitlist or newsletter, we collect your first name and email address, plus your phone number and city if you choose to share them.

When you buy something from us (a digital product, merch or a Clarity Call), your order and payment are processed by Stripe. We see your name, email and what you ordered. We never see or store your full card number.

We also collect basic, anonymised analytics about how people use the site, so we can tell what's working and what isn't.

Why we collect it

Mainly, to tell you about Hey Honey events near you. That's the whole point of the list. We also use your details to deliver what you've bought, answer your questions and keep the site running.

We only send marketing emails where you've consented, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Not to anyone, not for any price. Your details are for Hey Honey and nothing else.

The third parties we use

A small number of trusted providers help us run Hey Honey:

• Stripe · payments
• Klaviyo · our email list
• Resend · transactional emails, like order confirmations and welcome emails
• Vercel · hosting

Each provider only gets the information it needs to do its job, and each has its own privacy obligations.

Overseas processing

Some of these providers process data on servers outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Access and correction

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email hello@heyhoney.au and we'll sort it within a reasonable timeframe.

Complaints

If you think we've mishandled your information, tell us first so we can fix it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

The law

We're bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This page is the plain-English version of how we honour them.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a fresh date. If the change is a big one, we'll also tell the list.
